Nookie (Dariya Stavrovich) is a Russian singer, songwriter, and composer. From 2006 to 2024, she was the lead vocalist and co-songwriter of the alternative rock band "Slot". Since 2012, she has fronted her solo project, the musical formation "NOOKIE." She was born on February 1, 1986, in Velsk, Arkhangelsk Oblast, RSFSR, USSR.

Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.
In July 2017, she was entered into the database of the "Myrotvorets" website for illegal touring activities on the territory of Russian-occupied Crimea.
Nookie's Stance on the War in Ukraine
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Nookie, together with the other members of "Slot," published an Instagram post where they carefully voiced opposition to the war:
Hello, SLOT is on the line. We just want to support everyone who is currently suffering from decisions made by politicians. We have always been and remain against war in any form. On any territory. We are not politicians and express no position other than the desire for a complete cessation of armed hostilities against all living things.
P.S. We are disabling comments to prevent unnecessary aggression.

In early 2024, the band Slot was placed on a blacklist of performers in Russia and began constantly facing the problem of concert cancellations.
On April 4, 2024, Dariya "Nookie" Stavrovich announced her departure from the band "Slot." The official reason given was that "Nookie decided to leave the group for a solo venture."
A year after leaving "Slot," Nookie gave an interview to Ganz Music School, in which she spoke in detail about the true reasons for her departure. The band SLOT was placed on the list of prohibited artists, which prompted the band members to reconsider their anti-war stance. To resume performing concerts, the members decided to "comply with conditions from the presidential administration" to lift restrictions — first performing at an orphanage, and later at the front. Nookie refused to participate even in the very first step. For her, the band was not simply a cultural project or commercial enterprise, but a vital part of her own identity. Dariya tried to argue against participating, suggesting alternative paths for the group's development, but the band members rejected her proposals. Therefore, despite 18 years in the lineup, she refused to become part of the system and decided to leave.
This was followed by news that Nikita Muravyov and Sergey Bogolyubsky, who simultaneously played in SLOT, left the group "Nookie."
A detailed analysis of the reasons behind Nookie's departure from the group and the treacherous behavior of Slot's members can be seen in the video.
Dariya Stavrovich has immersed herself in working on her own project. Performing in Russia is now closed off to her. However, the artist plans to continue creating music and giving concerts outside Russia. She also does not rule out the option of moving to Portugal, as creative restrictions and censorship make writing music impossible in Russia.
Всегда слушал "Слот" только из-за ее вокала и подачи. Без нее группы нет.
Удачи ей в жизни и творчестве
