Pasha Tekhnik's Stance on the War in Ukraine
Attitude Toward the Annexation of Crimea
In 2015, Ivlev opposed the annexation of Crimea, which he confirmed during an interview with the project «The Lyudi» in 2018, remarking:
I see no point in this accession... none at all... it only ruined relations with Ukraine. If it broke away earlier, why annex it back? In that case you might as well keep annexing further. Annex everyone.
Nevertheless, Pasha Tekhnik still performed on the occupied peninsula, for which he was added to the database of the Myrotvorets website.
In 2018, Pasha Tekhnik was banned from entering Ukraine. According to the artist, he attempted to enter the country to visit relatives.
In 2020, for a fee of 3 million rubles, Tekhnik released a promotional music video in support of constitutional amendments in Russia.
Reaction to Russia's Full-Scale Invasion
Following the outbreak of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Pasha Tekhnik initially said little about the war. Later, however, he began publicly demonstrating support for Russia and the Russian armed forces.
On Amiran Sardarov's podcast, Pasha stated that he had no intention of dodging the «SVO»:
I never ran away from the country when everyone got scared and started fleeing to Kazakhstan, America, other countries... And I was like: come what may, I stayed right here, and I believe everything will be—well, here, for us at least—fine.
Song in Support of the «SVO»
In 2024, an unreleased track by Pasha Tekhnik dedicated to the «SVO» surfaced. The song was written in collaboration with administrators of several Russian pro-military Telegram channels, though it was never officially uploaded to streaming platforms:
I'm brave not because I'm drunk—I'm one of ours. If I had gone to prison, I'd have joined Storm Z to feed shrapnel to those freaks.
Financial Aid to the Russian Military
Following the artist's death in 2025, an interview with his close friend Luka Safronov revealed that Tekhnik had traveled to the Donbas region and actively financed the occupying forces.
Representatives of Russian military units confirmed that the rapper regularly transferred money for the needs of the Russian army, donating around 700,000 rubles.
Among Pasha Tekhnik's personal belongings, relatives discovered commendation certificates from Russian military units thanking him for systematic material support.
