Philipp Kirkorov is a Russian pop singer and producer, People's Artist of Ingushetia (2006), Russia (2008), Moldova (2018), and Ukraine (2008 — stripped of the title). Honorary citizen of Yalta. Born on April 30, 1967, in Varna, Bulgaria.

In August 2015, he was entered into the Myrotvorets database for conscious repeated violation of the state border of Ukraine in order to enter occupied Crimea, and participation in Russian propaganda events against Ukraine.

From June 23 to 25, 2021, he was included in the List of persons posing a threat to the national security of Ukraine due to illegally crossing the border of Ukraine and visiting occupied Crimea.

He stood up for Viktor Medvedchuk, who was detained on April 12, 2022, by the SSU, and for his wife Oksana Marchenko, calling for a «fair decision».

Since January 7, 2023, he has been under NSDC sanctions for anti-Ukrainian activity, which strips the artist of all state awards and other forms of honors.
Kirkorov's position regarding the war in Ukraine
At the start of the full-scale invasion, Philipp remained silent, making no public statements regarding his civic stance, but soon his actions demonstrated that he fiercely supports the Putin regime and Russia's war against Ukraine.
- At the height of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he visited soldiers in annexed Crimea and gave two concerts. Announcing the concerts in Crimea, Kirkorov stated:
I am heading to Crimea. I want so much to see all Crimeans, but I will especially be waiting for our heroes.
- He fell victim to the «cancel culture» following his participation in Nastya Ivleeva's «naked party». To regain the Kremlin's favor, the artist immediately recorded a video offering apologies and fervent declarations of love for his motherland.
- He took part in Ksenia Sobchak's project to resettle residents of Belgorod.
- On January 8, 2024, he published the following on his Telegram channel:
Today I made the decision to donate my fee for participating in the television project «New Year Mask» on the NTV channel to the residents of the city of Belgorod affected by the inhumane terrorist attack that occurred during the New Year holidays.
- On February 13, 2024, Kirkorov visited the DPR (city of Horlivka): he performed a concert for wounded occupiers and brought humanitarian aid. Kirkorov visited the destroyed concert hall in Horlivka, posting about it on Telegram:
In this hall my first hit was performed for the first time
«Atlantida»
Today this hall is destroyed.
But we are not destroyed.
I am not destroyed.
Music will sound here again... through the efforts of our heroes.
What celebrities say about Kirkorov's position
It seems to me that if Philipp appears on the frontline wearing see-through tights, a truce for several days is guaranteed. And if we also put Skabeyeva's head in his hands so that it looks like the Versace brand, that will be simply magnificent.
I started writing, tried calling, but it was all useless. He vanished into thin air. I think he simply added me to his «blacklist». Even though we were friends, we sang together, performed, traveled in Israel, in Russia, in Great Britain, and in America. It seems to me that deep down inside he holds a completely different opinion. But in order to please his master, he says what is pleasing to hear for his master Putin. He is extremely dependent on him.
This is the worst thing imaginable. Where he has led himself. He was never a bad person. To me, Philipp was known as a man of his word. If he said he would support and attend some party, he did so... He did not choose a dignified old age for himself, although he could have... I am shocked... I do not understand why he does this... He could have made excellent money somewhere where all immigrants gather... He could have taken his children out of the country in time. I suspect they might even take his children away if something goes wrong. But one needed to act quickly and immediately.
