«Srub» is a Russian post-punk band from Novosibirsk, founded in 2013 by Igor Shapransky. The group's music blends elements of dark folk and post-punk, while the lyrics explore themes of Russian occultism, nature, and mysticism.

Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.
Band «Srub» stance on the war in Ukraine
Following the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the group made no direct public statements regarding its stance. However, subsequently its views became apparent through public actions and collaborations.
In March 2024, Igor Shapransky gave an interview on the broadcast "Poisons and Views" («Яды и взгляды») to Z-host Aleksandr Ionov, who openly supports the war, the murder of Ukrainians, and the destruction of Ukraine as a sovereign state. Later, Shapransky also invited Ionov to a live stream, writing:
Host of the podcast «Poisons and Views» with a relevant and clear civic stance
In February 2024, the single «Rus' Warriors Slay the Reptilians» («Русы валят рептилоидов») was released, recorded jointly with the Z-band «Yermak!». The track is produced in the stylistic aesthetic of modern propaganda and aimed at supporting the Russian army:
Come on, let's shout «Goyda!» together,
Rus' warriors slay the reptilians!
With an ancient dance from the Slavs
Get punched in the face!
Motherland bequeathed to us
To drink the waters of Baikal.
And fight the green ones for humankind,
Let the herods tremble and fear.
For to our fathers we swore
To show no mercy to the vermin!
Sharpen your magic sword,
And that's the end of the reptiles.
In April 2024, the band premiered the single «Harvest Days» («Дни урожая»), produced jointly with musician Branimir, who likewise maintains a pro-war stance.
According to Necro TV, one member departed from the band "Srub" due to disagreement with the group's pro-war trajectory.
