Stas Yarushin's Stance on the War in Ukraine
On February 24, 2022, following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Stas Yarushin posted on his Instagram in the vein of "peace to the world":
Why can't people simply live in peace and harmony? Without any wars and other misunderstandings! Many of my friends live in Ukraine! I simply don't understand what is happening anymore. I don't want war! People, stay strong.
However, later on, the typical sentiments of brainwashed Russians awakened in Stas, who "sincerely" fail to comprehend cause-and-effect relationships. In March 2022, Yarushin complained about Western sanctions:
The only thing that annoys me is that they try to direct it against the country, but for the most part it affects ordinary citizens who aren't even aware of everything. Moreover, the paradox is that these sanctions also backfire on the West, yet they continue stamping them out. There are always consequences; all sanctions won't just work in one direction!
Then he spoke out maliciously about celebrities who left Russia following the outbreak of the war:
Personally, I will be against your returns and flip-flopping! I am against you doing anything in my country again, while during any conflict situation you will crap on our Russian people. We went through the 90s, the collapse of the Soviet Union. What kinds of crap haven't been dumped on us! But we are Russians! I am Russian, and we will break through
He also criticized global brands that exited Russia because of the war.
Following the announcement of "partial mobilization" in October 2022, Yarushin reacted to the emigration of many Russians from the country:
Don't hold your breath! Russia is my Homeland, my family, job, friends are here—I have everything here. Yes, trivially, everything I've done in my life right now, I did right here. And running somewhere when things got harder, I have no intention to, I'm from Chelyabinsk, after all. Any hardships are opportunities for growth
In September 2022, Stas decided to support the mobilized troops. The actor recorded a video message addressing residents of the Southern Urals and beyond. He asked to donate sleeping bags and camping mats to mobilized soldiers if possible. Stas himself admitted that he had no sleeping bag, but promised to help with something else:
I am not a camper, but I will stop by a store and try to find everything that our guys need in these difficult times
In March 2025, the actor recalled his KVN days and his meeting with Putin, about which "there will be something to tell the grandchildren":

On his YouTube channel, Stas often records episodes featuring overt Z-artists: Shaman, Gogunsky, Gagarina, Khilkevich, Dolina, and others.
