Valeriya (real name Alla Perfilova) is a Russian pop singer. People's Artist of Russia (2013). She was born on April 17, 1968, in Atkarsk, Saratov Oblast, Russian SFSR. She is married to producer Iosif Prigozhin.

Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.
On February 6, 2012, she was officially registered as an authorized representative of presidential candidate Vladimir Putin.
In March 2014, she signed an open letter supporting Russian President Vladimir Putin's policy regarding the Russian military intervention in Ukraine. In August 2016, Iosif Prigozhin, the singer's producer and husband, claimed that neither he nor Valeriya had signed anything in support of Putin's aggressive policies.

In July 2014, she received an entry ban to Latvia on grounds of "facilitating the undermining of Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty."
In October 2014, she was entered into the database of the Myrotvorets website for propagandizing war, Russian fascism, and Nazism, illegal touring activities in Russian-occupied Crimea, and other infractions.
On August 8, 2015, she was added to the "Blacklist of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine."
In 2017, in an interview with Gazeta.ru, the singer commented on her attitude toward sanctions:
They simply fabricated a case about an «enemy of the people.» I have no intention of making excuses; I have never spoken out and will never speak out against Ukraine. As for the fact that I supported the referendum in Crimea… If they think they can forbid thinking differently, — for God's sake, then our paths definitely diverge. When a different government comes to power, that's when we'll talk.
In 2018, she served as a confidante for Vladimir Putin during the presidential elections.
Since January 7, 2023, she has been under sanctions by the NSDC for anti-Ukrainian activities.
On July 20, 2023, she was included on Canada's sanctions list targeting "individuals using their art to propagate Russia's invasion of Ukraine."
She was also included by the ACF (FBK) on the list of corrupt officials and warmongers for participating in concerts supporting the war against Ukraine.
Valeriya's Stance on the War in Ukraine
On March 18, 2022, Valeriya performed at Luzhniki stadium during a rally-concert celebrating the anniversary of the annexation of Crimea titled "Za a world without Nazism! Za Russia! Za the President!"
In May 2023, on the air of the "People's Front," Valeriya and Prigozhin confirmed their support for the so-called SMO and tacit financial backing of the Russian army.
In April 2025, Valeriya sang the Soviet song "Where the Motherland Begins" upon the ruins of a destroyed (presumably Ukrainian) city, visually demonstrating the true reality of the "Russian world." In the video, she appeared dressed in festive attire, in stark contrast to all the horrors of war visible around her.
