«Epidemia» (Эпидемия) is a Russian power metal band founded in 1995 by guitarist Yuri Melisov in Moscow. Since 2010, the band's lead vocalist has been Evgeny Egorov.

Listening to this artist's tracks on official streaming platforms, social media, and other services indirectly contributes to financing the war — through taxes paid to the budget of the Russian Federation.
In July 2017, Evgeny Egorov was entered into the «Myrotvorets» database for illegal touring activities on the territory of Russian-occupied Crimea.
The Band «Epidemia»’s Position on the War in Ukraine
Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the musicians of the band «Epidemia» adopted a stance of silence. On February 25, 2022, they held a concert in Nizhny Novgorod as if nothing had happened. To this day, the band maintains an active concert schedule.
«Epidemia» was announced among the participants of the 2023 «Nashestvie» festival, sponsored by the Russian Ministry of Defense. However, for security reasons, the festival was postponed to 2024. The festival lineup planned performances by artists who, for the most part, endorsed the military invasion of Ukraine: «VA-BANKЪ», «Animatsiya», «Affinage», Vadim Samoylov, «Zhuki», Olga Kormukhina and Alexey Belov, The Hatters, «Kalinov Most», «Murakami», «Pilot», «Surganova i Orkestr», 7B, UMA2RMAN, «Severny Flot», «Plan Lomonosova», F.P.G, and others.
Concerts in Crimea
In October 2022, «Epidemia» performed concerts in occupied Kerch, Simferopol, and Sevastopol, which violates Ukrainian legislation and international law, and is regarded as indirect legitimization of Russia's occupation of the Crimean peninsula.
The band continues living and working in Russia, actively touring across cities in the Russian Federation and occupied cities of Ukraine.
